Summary
The decree extends the wage development programme for state healthcare workers to additional healthcare providers, which thereby become eligible to claim wage subsidies related to salary or wage increases. Employees of the affected institutions are entitled to the increased salary from 1 April 2025 and 1 June 2025 respectively, which shall be paid for the first time retroactively simultaneously with the payment of wages for October 2025. The amendment also supplements the annex to Government Decree No. 256/2013 with the data of the newly included healthcare providers, among them the Unified Social Institution of Szeged.

III. Government Decrees
Government Decree No. 291/2025. (IX. 18.) on the amendment of Government Decree No. 256/2013. (VII. 5.) on the detailed rules for the salary or wage increase of certain healthcare workers and persons employed in healthcare, and the utilisation of the related support
[1] The Government is committed to ensuring the continuous wage development of persons employed in the state healthcare sector, one instrument of which is the establishment of the entitlement to claim support for newly eligible institutions for wage support.
[2] The Government, acting on the basis of the authorisation granted in Section 28(3)(a)(aa) and (b) of Act LXXXIV of 2003 on certain issues relating to the performance of healthcare activities, acting within the scope of duties defined in Article 15(1) of the Fundamental Law, hereby orders the following:
Section 1. Subtitle 6 of Government Decree No. 256/2013. (VII. 5.) on the detailed rules for the salary or wage increase of certain healthcare workers and persons employed in healthcare, and the utilisation of the related support [hereinafter: Government Decree No. 256/2013.
