Summary
The decree of the Minister of Agriculture introduces amendments affecting multiple areas, which primarily aim at curbing the spread of avian influenza, compensating farmers affected by foot-and-mouth disease, and achieving more efficient implementation of agricultural support procedures. Within the framework of measures against avian influenza, new distance requirements are established for the establishment of poultry-keeping facilities, and a support programme is launched for the rationalisation of production capacities.
