Summary
The Act provides for the establishment of a border policing database, into which so-called border commuters — persons who regularly cross the border of Hungary — may be entered upon application, enabling them to undergo expedited and simplified border checks. The database contains the personal data, travel documents and facial images of the persons concerned, and is based on the provisions of the EU Schengen Borders Code. The Act also amends the Aviation Act for the purpose of simplifying the procedures of the military aviation authority.
