Summary

Government Decree 339/2025. (X. 31.) amends Government Decree 435/2021. (VII. 16.) regulating the administrative procedures of the wine-grape sector, primarily with regard to the application procedure and period of use of new planting authorisations and replanting authorisations. The amendment introduces a second, October application period for remaining planting authorisations, extends the validity of replanting authorisations to six years, and enables grape producers to engage in full contract processing for the purpose of producing wine products. In addition, it harmonises the system of organoleptic examinations, separating those relating to products bearing a geographical indication from those without a geographical indication.
