Summary
The government decrees published in issue No. 136 of the Magyar Közlöny for the year 2025 provide central budget support to the local governments of several Hungarian cities for various purposes, such as in the case of Edelény for the development of a lookout tower and playground (300 million forints), and in the case of Gyöngyös for the preservation of the operational capacity of the local government (1 billion forints). The funds are to be provided from the Economic Development Framework of the 2026 central budget, under the responsibility of the Minister for the National Economy, whereupon the Minister for Public Administration and Regional Development shall ensure their delivery to the local governments. Among the settlements concerned are also Kunszentmiklós, Ózd, Putnok, Sajószentpéter and Vásáros[nambe].
