Summary

Government Decree No. 361/2025. (XI. 25.) on Home Support regulates a non-repayable benefit available as a matter of subjective right, which assists in taking out or repaying a housing loan for persons employed in the public sector. The persons entitled to the benefit are primarily those in a legal relationship directed at the performance of work at budgetary legal entities, as well as at educational, healthcare, social, cultural and charitable institutions, including professional soldiers and law enforcement employees. The annual ceiling amount is one million forints net per eligible person, and in the case of spouses, both parties may claim the benefit separately.
