Summary
Act III of 2025 amends the right of assembly in such a way that it expressly prohibits the holding of assemblies that violate legislation on the protection of children, and classifies participation in a prohibited assembly held by misleading the assembly authority as a petty offence. A fine may be imposed for such conduct, which shall be collected in the manner of taxes, and the proceeds shall be used for child protection purposes. The Act also enables the use of a facial recognition system for the purpose of establishing the identity of an unknown perpetrator of a petty offence.
