Summary
The decree contains amendments to government decrees relating to personal documents and transport certificates, pursuant to which the issuer of official identity cards and passports shall uniformly be considered the Government of Hungary, indicated with the abbreviation "MK". In addition, the designation of competences relating to the parking certificate for persons with restricted mobility is also clarified, with the expression "heading the Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister" being replaced by the expression "responsible for the personal data and address registration system".

III. Government Decrees
Government Decree 89/2025. (IV. 30.) on the amendment of certain government decrees related to personal and transport documents
[1] In order to implement the changes in competence determined by Government Decree 21/2025. (II. 24.) on the amendment of certain decrees affecting the tasks and powers of members of the Government, the Government enacts the following decree.
[2] The Government
acting on the basis of the authorisation granted in Section 47(1)(a) of Act LXVI of 1992 on the Registration of Personal Data and Domicile of Citizens,
with regard to Subtitle 2, acting on the basis of the authorisation granted in Section 41(1)(a) of Act XII of 1998 on Travel Abroad,
with regard to Subtitle 3, acting on the basis of the authorisation granted in Section 40 of Act LXXXIV of 1999 on the Road Traffic Register,
with regard to Subtitle 4, acting on the basis of the authorisation granted in Section 48(3)(a)(30) of Act I of 1988 on Road Traffic,
with regard to Subtitle 5, acting on the basis of the authorisation granted in Section 47(1)(a) of Act LXVI of 1992 on the Registration of Personal Data and Domicile of Citizens,
acting within the scope of duties defined in Article 15(1) of the Fundamental Law, hereby orders the following:…
