Summary
The decree of the Minister of the Interior amends the rules governing the use of the chapter-managed and centrally managed appropriations of the Ministry of the Interior, having regard to the entry into force of the central budget for the year 2025. The amendment affects, inter alia, the provisions relating to the beneficiaries, purposes of use, and conditions of the appropriations, and changes the name of the National Roma Self-Government to the National Self-Government of Roma in Hungary. The purpose of the decree is to ensure the earliest possible applicability of the amended rules of use and access to the grants.

Decree No. 15/2025. (V. 19.) BM of the Minister of the Interior on the amendment of Decree No. 13/2020. (V. 5.) BM on the rules for the use of chapter-managed appropriations and Decree No. 6/2021. (III. 3.) BM on the rules for the use of centrally managed appropriations
[1] Based on the provisions set out in Section 28(1) of Act CXCV of 2011 on Public Finances, and in Section 30 of Government Decree No. 368/2011. (XII. 31.) on the implementation of the Act on Public Finances, and having regard to the entry into force of Act XC of 2024 on the central budget of Hungary for 2025, the purpose of this decree is to ensure the earliest possible application of the amended rules for the use of chapter-managed and centrally managed appropriations of the Ministry of the Interior chapter, and the earliest possible access to grants for those concerned.
[2] Acting on the authority granted under Section 109(5) of Act CXCV of 2011 on Public Finances, acting within the scope of duties defined in point 14 of point I of Annex 1 to Government Decree No. 368/2011. (XII. 31.) on the implementation of the Act on Public Finances — in agreement with the Minister of National Economy acting within the scope of duties defined in point 22 of Section 103(1) of Government Decree No. 182/2022.
