Summary
The decree regulates the financial support framework for the integration of students returning from abroad into the public education system, introducing from 1 September 2025 a supplementary support of HUF 130,000 per student per month for non-state maintainers. The condition for the support is the provision of at least five hours of individual preparation per week, and it may be claimed for a maximum of ten months per student per teaching year. The application may be submitted on a monthly basis to the competent county directorate of the Hungarian State Treasury, based on the actual average headcount.

III. Government Decrees
Government Decree No. 212/2025. (VII. 22.) on the amendment of Government Decree No. 174/2017. (VI. 30.) on the procedure and designation of civil registrars and civil registry authorities, and on the qualification requirements for civil registration
[1] The purpose of this decree — in accordance with the amendment to the Act on civil registry procedure — is to clarify the regulations regarding the Hungarian register of given names, and to simplify the procedure relating to given names requested for inclusion in the register of given names.
[2] The Government, acting on the basis of the authorisation granted under Section 94, points a) and c) of Act I of 2010 on civil registry procedure, and acting within the scope of duties defined in Article 15(1) of the Fundamental Law, hereby orders the following:
Section 1. The following provision shall replace Section 7(1) of Government Decree No. 174/2017. (VI. 30.) on the procedure and designation of civil registrars and civil registry authorities, and on the qualification requirements for civil registration:
"(1) The person concerned may initiate — in writing or electronically — the inclusion in the Hungarian register of given names (hereinafter: register of given names) of a given name chosen by them but not appearing in the register of given names, by means of an application of the data content specified in Annex 2, as prescribed by the civil registry authority."…
