Summary

The government decree establishes the special rules for the provision of pensioner food vouchers, within the framework of which the Hungarian State Treasury issues vouchers redeemable for the purchase of cold food items to eligible persons. Entitlement to the benefit applies to persons living in Hungary who, in July 2025, received old-age pension, widow's pension, disability benefit, disability support, or any other benefit listed in the decree. The purpose of the regulation is to alleviate the financial burdens of the pensioner and other benefit-recipient population most affected by the rise in food prices.
