Summary
Government Decree No. 248/2025 contains an amendment to a previous government decree related to the Danube InGrid energy investment taking place in Mosonmagyaróvár, within the framework of which it introduces special plot formation rules for the plots affected by the investment. Under the new provisions, plot formation may be carried out regardless of zoning classifications and zoning boundaries, and local or national rules contrary thereto shall not be applicable. The amendment also applies to ongoing administrative proceedings, thereby ensuring the smooth implementation of the investment.

Government Decree No. 248/2025. (VIII. 7.) of the Government
on the amendment of Government Decree No. 778/2021. (XII. 23.) on declaring the administrative authority cases related to the implementation of the Danube InGrid project as cases of outstanding importance from a national economic perspective, and on declaring the Danube InGrid project a priority public interest investment
[1] The energy investment to be implemented in Mosonmagyaróvár is a matter of paramount importance, in view of which it is necessary for the Government to support the smooth and high-quality implementation of the investment.
[2] Acting on the basis of the authorisation granted in point d) of subsection (2) of Section 225 of Act C of 2023 on Hungarian Architecture, and acting within the scope of duties defined in subsection (3) of Article 15 of the Fundamental Law, the Government hereby orders the following:
Section 1. Government Decree No. 778/2021. (XII. 23.) on declaring the administrative authority cases related to the implementation of the Danube InGrid project as cases of outstanding importance from a national economic perspective, and on declaring the Danube InGrid project a priority public interest investment (hereinafter: Government Decree) shall be supplemented with the following Section 2/A: "Section 2/A.
