Summary
The decree of the Minister of the Interior amends the rules on prescribing medicines eligible for social insurance support, extending the right to issue prescriptions to pharmacists and qualified advanced practice nurses as well. The measure primarily serves to ensure the continuous pharmaceutical supply and convenience of patients with chronic conditions. The amendment concerns two earlier decrees of the Ministry of Health, Social and Family Affairs (ESZCSM), which contain the detailed rules on the ordering and dispensing of subsidised medicines.
