Summary
The President of the Republic issued two decisions on 21 April 2026: in one, he convened the inaugural session of the National Assembly for 9 May 2026 on the basis of the provisions of the Fundamental Law. In the other, he conferred the Hungarian Order of the Corvinian Chain state decoration upon Balázs Barsi, Franciscan theologian, István Bogárdi Szabó, Reformed pastor, and Dr. László Trócsányi, legal scholar, in recognition of their outstanding activity in theology, pastoral ministry, and legal scholarship and teaching, respectively.
