Summary
Acting within its currency issuance authority, the Magyar Nemzeti Bank issues a silver commemorative coin with a face value of 25,000 forints on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Hungarian Football Association, with effect from 9 May 2026. The coin is made of 925 per mille silver, weighs 31.46 grams, has a diameter of 38.61 mm, and is issued in a total mintage of 4,000 pieces using proof technology. The obverse features the Hungarian Cup challenge trophy and the Puskás Aréna, while the reverse depicts a football from nearly 100 years ago and the anniversary logo of the association.
