Summary

The government decree provides for the supplementary increase of pension benefits and certain other benefits in November 2025, the rate of which is 1.6 percent, with retroactive effect from 1 January 2025. The reason for the increase is that the rise in consumer prices exceeded the rate of the January pension increase by at least 1 percentage point, and therefore the entitled persons shall receive in November, in addition to the increased benefit, the difference due for the first ten months and for the thirteenth-month pension. The regulation affects old-age pensions and other benefits defined by Act alike.
